Families at Play is a new interactive family focused program being hosted in partnership with the Early Childhood Support Centre at NSCC. Families at Play focuses on building confidence through movement. Each child is given free range to explore their environment with their adults within arm’s reach. Let your child take the lead and run out some energy as they explore and play in a safe and inclusive environment!

Friday Night Fun

Drop your child or children off for Friday Night Fun where our experienced recreation leaders will host a variety of games and activities followed by a nighttime movie. Movies are G or PG rated. This is the perfect opportunity for parents to get a night away. Children must be registered in advance, unregistered children will not be allowed access.

Nerf Wars – Registration Closed

Our Nerf Wars kicks off each Tuesday at Yarmouth Elementary School, the gymnasium will be laid out with obstacles, games, and activities for competitors to play rounds of Nerf Wars, Team Match, Capture the Flag, Protect the President, and Battle Royal.

After the Bell

After the Bell is a program for girls or those identifying as female attending Maple Grove Education Centre that provides leadership opportunities for program alumni attending YCMHS. The program takes place Wednesdays after school from October to June and incorporates tons of fun and new activities with time to chill and hang out in the outdoors (or in the kitchen making great snacks!)

Cook it up, Boys! – Registration Closed Program is FULL
January 17th – March 7th, 2023
This after-school program is for boys or those identifying as male and will focus on simple meals, building confidence in the kitchen, and connecting with peers. Kids will be creating meals that the whole family will enjoy. After cooking their meal the boys will sit down and enjoy a dinner with their peers. Kids 11 and up can attend the class without their parents.
