Yarmouth Recreation provides recreation programming and services for the residents of both the Town of Yarmouth and the Municipality of Yarmouth. Yarmouth Recreation is given direction and recommendations from the Recreation Committee. Yarmouth Recreation continuously strives to improve the quality and condition of our facilities, increase the availability of recreation and leisure programming for area residents, and ensure optimal customer service.
Yarmouth Recreation is searching for a dynamic, organized, and energetic individual to assist in the coordination and facilitation of registered programs, summer day camp programs, special events, and multi-sport programs. Recreation Gym Supervisors
The recreation gym supervisor is a front-line position. Yarmouth Recreation has made Community Use arrangements with school facilities, during which times we are responsible for providing supervision of these facilities during community-sponsored activities. These activities may include sports, birthday parties, recreation programs, meetings, and events.
This position is held seasonally from October – June. This position is part-time, and hours range from 10-20 hours per week.
Recreation Program Leader
The Recreation Program Leader will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of Yarmouth Recreation programs and events, by coordinating with team members to ensure effective delivery. This includes providing all necessary equipment, tracking participation, and ensuring all participant’s waivers are signed prior to the implementation of activities. The successful candidate must be a team player who is willing to work with others, including other staff members, parents/guardians, and the general public.
