This class is a partnership with Yarmouth Recreation and Mariners on Main. Sara – the Community Recreation Coordinator is facilitating a seated fitness class for all ability levels.
Sara has worked in fitness as a Certified Personal Trainer since 2010, has taken these skills and taught multiple different ability levels as well as different settings. She has done one on one training with clients in a gym environment, as well as running boot-camps for people who range from beginner to a more advanced level with people from 18-70.
Sara has also taught fitness within multiple Long Term Care Facilities – her oldest participant was 105 – you are never too old to start moving!
The class runs for 45 minutes on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:45am-9:30am.
Within this 45 minute program we will do some light stretching, intro to weightlifting movements (while seated), as well as a cool down. Everyone can participate at their own pace and ability level. Sara will show adaptations for movements and explain what muscle groups you are working while you follow along with her during the class.
