Description & Services
This group is first and foremost a gay, lesbian, bisexual, & transsexual social group open to all ages. At this time we have about 70 members throughout South West Nova Scotia.
We have a Facebook page you are welcome to join, it is under South West Nova Pride.
A few of our members have, and continue to, speak to groups such as: Gay Straight Alliance youth groups in the local high schools, Nursing students at the Yarmouth campus of Dalhousie University and Human resource class at NSCC in Yarmouth.
We are available to any group or person that would like us speak to them regarding issues of the GLBT community.
We have been a guest on a local radio show, had articles in the local newspapers and have participated in the local Seafest Parade for the last 2 years. We were proud to have been awarded a plaque for the most colourful float in our 1st parade.
